Originally founded in 1985, current owners Kristin and Chris Reynolds took over in 2023. They retired to the area nearly 35 years after graduating from Brevard College. They bring a passion for local fare and high quality foods without junk in it!

At Whistlestop Market and Wine, we believe in providing local products to the extent possible, and fresh items without preservatives and GMOs. We only exist to serve our customers and our goal is 100% satisfaction with every purchase.

Artisanal Cheese
Indulge in the rich and complex flavors of our artisanal cheese selection, featuring handcrafted cheeses from around the world. From creamy bries to sharp cheddars, we have something for every cheese lover.
Premium Meats
Experience the taste of premium meats at Whistlestop Market and Wine. We offer local sausage, regional small farm chicken, organic ground beef and steaks, organic ground turkey, organic chicken sausage, and ground lamb. We didn't forget about vegetarians. We also stock tofu and No Bull veggie burgers.
Fresh Seafood
We offer a selection of fresh seafood starting every Friday. We call it "Fresh Fish Friday". We offer it fresh for the weekend only and while we usually sell out, any leftover fish are frozen and offered at a discount. Check the whiteboard in the store for what's currently available. We only offer premium seafood sourced from reputable suppliers. From Chilean Sea Bass, Halibut, Scottish Salmon, Wahoo, Snapper, Grouper, Tuna, and Swordfish to Oysters, Mussels, Clams, Shrimp, and Lobster. We do custom orders all the time, so if you need something for an event or just a special dinner with friends, please inquire!!
Gourmet Grocery
Our gourmet grocery is stocked with unique and hard-to-find products, perfect for the home cook or adventurous foodie. Discover new flavors and ingredients to elevate your cooking. Local pimento cheese, local eggs, local pizzas, local baked goods, gluten and dairy free items, and lots of organic products.
Wine and Craft Beer
We offer wines of every type and style from around the world. We also offer champagne, prosecco and sake. Come check out our wide selection of craft beers from many local brewers and some of the most respected national brewers.
